Our first week here in Florence was spent eating great food, meeting our professors and program director, and being overwhelmed by the beauty and historical important of this great city. During the weekend we took a trip to Sienna and it was a very nice visit. The main Sienna cathedral was beautiful and we had the opportunity to go all the way to the top and see the panoramic view (pictures below). Also, cappuccinos are amazing. At the end of our trip we made a stop on the walled city of San Gimignano and it was the cutest town. It was on top of a hill and had a variety of interesting stores.
